About The Jerusalem Film Workshop

Founded at 2014, The JFW is a five-week summer program in Israel, designed for talented young filmmakers from all around the world. 20 selected participants will get a once in a lifetime experience, being guided by some of Israel’s top filmmakers, taking their skills to the next level, while creating an original short film on the best documentary set in the world - Jerusalem.

Yaniv Linton

Yaniv Linton is a cinematographer, among his works are numerous documentaries, feature films and TV drama series’. Films he shot won Emmy awards as well as international film festivals and Israeli film and television awards. Yaniv graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School in Jerusalem, where he is currently a lecturer.

Michal Weits is an Israeli documentary director and producer. Former head producer of the leading Israeli documentary Channel 8; distributor; and founder of 'Tape Runners'-an independent production company which produced "WALL" (2017)- winner of DocAviv film festival.
